    After Superbowl Profits?

I've been trying to figure out how to monetize the superbowl to my benefit. What kind of things will be thrown away or not used after the superbowl? I'd imagine there would be a ton of soda cans but they typically just save them and take them in later. Perhaps empty kegs. Anyone have any ideas? Or would you say it's not worth looking into?

I think that "anything" is worth a look, but upto you to decide if to go any further with it?

Yeah, empty cans & plastic bottles for sure.
When you say "Kegs" you are not talking about the ally ones for beer are you?
Because i think they have to go back to the distillers as there is a return price on them?
However, its only what ive heard and i could have got it wrong?

If you are able to collect a bit of scrap from "source" see if there are any food items that you could pick up while you are there and drop them off at a shelter for someone else to have... Just a thought!

Skiprat is right...no legitimate yard will take kegs. If you find one, you can get more back in deposit than scrap anyway. Most have a $30-$50 deposit.

After Christmas, Super Bowl weekend is a huge time for new TV's. About a week before the game, look for old TV's on CL or the side of the road.

Think like men do. What do men do on Superbowl? Besides drink copious amounts of beer. We also GRILL! .. And you know men are always looking for excuses to buy new "things" ...In with the new shiny, out with the old rusty.

TV sales always go up around Superbowl week. We've always seen a slight uptick in televisions getting scrapped during and after super bowl week. This isn't such a big deal anymore now that the army tank sized televisions are so few and far between.
