    Quick Note on Toner Cartridges

    Hello:

I know this is not metal, but if you ask around and have people save toner cartridges from printers and copiers, they have recycle value. Hope I am not recreating a thread or bothering anyone...just another avenue.

    Thanks,

ecyclegroup.com is the first place I can think of as already stated...the other one Staples has also been stated. I have a couple business endeavors so I need toner, paper, pens, and other general office supplies from time to time. Mostly I need cash and these things come to me free, so I make use of them in the best way possible at that moment. That's the two optioins I would have suggested and I use, so enjoy.

if you have a staples rewards card they will give you $2 each for up to 10 a month, they dont give you cash but they do send you a store voucher.
i just bought paper towels and more ink with mine.

I'll take $2 of store credit for stuff I need over the $.60 they pay... And $.10 each for cell phones? I just went down to staples today and got a package of dvds and cds paid for by the ink rewards. And right now, you can get $10 each on up to 3 cartridges when you buy new ink. I think they have to be HP refilled ones, though.

I may have been a bit harsh. they do pay more than $2 on a few, so it may be worth separating them...

e-cycle group dosen't buy all ink cartridges, so the ones they don't buy bring to store for credit. I get from .20 to 4.40 ea for ink cartridges and they pay all shipping. I just sent 250.00 worth in today. Store credit dosen't pay my bills and I take cash over credit anytime. my .02

    Just so you know
Toner is a living bacteria, its very harmful for your health
I worked at Cartridge world in hs, and i hated doing toner, The room had a large air filter (casino size) and we had to wear masks. One guy go a cut in the room and it definitely got some type of infected
All ink cartridges can be refilled, its as easy as you think it is, with the right tools.

Although toner certainly poses some respiratory health risks, I in no way would ever classify it as a living bacteria.
If it wasn't for the $ in $crap, it would just be.....
