Look around when you are driving and look for for sale signs on houses. If people are moving there's a good chance they are getting rid of some things either now or in the near future. Drop a card or a flyer. Made a nice pick up today when I noticed a dumpster in the owners driveway. Rang bell, explained what I do and asked if I could go thru dumpster. Lady said sure " dive away". Three file cabinets, angle iron metal shelving, electronics and some other scrap. All in 10 mins.
