If you ever call a Computer Repair guy always talk to the wife.

If you are calling a guy that works out of his house, try to get a hold of his wife and ask about Getting old Computers and Computer related junk out of their way. They are more likely to get ya to come pick it up because most of you know how wifes are. I personally don't, I'm not married, but I just called a couple guys and talked to their wifes and I might have some inventory coming in from them. So just keep it in mind if a wife answers go pretty in to detail about getting the stuff out of their way and cleaning up their house or business a bit. Thats my little tip of advice.

I try to avoid being manipulative and sneaky. In a situation like that I find myself imagining how I would feel if I were to come home and find my scrap gone because someone contacted my wife while I was out.

No I'm meaning have the wife tell her husband and like if shes one like what I hear about, She'd be on his case about getting old junk out of the way. I wouldn't accept it if its the guys computers and she didn't tell him a thing, I told her to have the husband call me.

On another note, Some people are rude lol. I called a Repair place, and asked about, Old computers they want to get out of their way, they said they have all sorts of computers, they say, "How much you paying?" I say $1-$5 a piece, and he's said are you scrapping, I say yes, And he laughs and says, Thanks, and just hangs up. Lol? Ugh, I guess you get people like that.
