    price per piece

i would like to try to buy non working cards and computers from our local computer shops however i don't see a discussion here that covers price per piece for non working cards. i know the price for a whole computer should be around $5 but i'm not sure what to offer for individual cards. any suggestions?

buy it by the pound. First you need to know what your buyer is paying for it by th pound then offer a price that you can still make money. Unless you like to loose money.

that would be too easy. so let's suppose the seller wants a per card price...what would that be in order to profit on bad cards?

If that's too easy then why not do it that way...Why make it harder? Boards are too different to buy "Each" unless you were buying a quantity that was all the same. You buy a package of hotdogs but steak is by the pound.

the reason you cant do each for those cards is because a network card might only weigh 3 ounces but a high end video card could weigh a pound. if you want to pay by the each let me know your prices and I bet I could send you a couple hundred very light network cards a month.

id pay 20 cents per pci card regardless of how big it was if i was going to do it like that, that way the fingers alone would provide a 200% or better profit

That would be strange but all the sellers I have dealt with so far is usually by the lb or by the box.

i think if you can get them for $.25 a piece with the fingers in tact you would definetly make a nice profit. Good luck.
