Electro plated silver copper with patina

A brother of mine is too busy to do anything with all of his EP silver flatware (most of it is silver plated copper) so he let me deal with it. I hate ebay and there is so much of it that it would be a pain to display each one for pics and then post. Their doesnt seem to be sets just a random pile. Some are dented up from being moved around so much and some just look weathered. I was trying to avoid ebay, might post a few pics on CL and see what happens. Any comments, tips appreciated.

my yard buys it as brass, if it is marked electroplate on copper they should give you #2 copper. other than that it is a pain to deal with. just make sure you check it all to make sure there are no silver pieces, sometimes the marks are so small that you can barely see them.

antique shops , consignment shops & flea market dealers are always looking for decent stuff at prices they can still make a few coins on after they clean/shine them up.

shop them around some of the local businesses right downtown and you might just establish another outlet for stuff at better than scrap prices without dealing with eBaT and PAYnotyerPAL

OTB, if the peices are of a good quality maker and in great shape you may have a chance at selling to an antique store or a fleamarket seller. As a person who does both fleamarkets and a booth at an antique store, I buy silver plate for scrap, I am lucky if I get more than scrap value for silverplate items after moving them around from sale to sale.
    just my 2 cents,

I come across these items that I get from a thrift store that I pick up scrap from. Every one i've seen are silver plated brass, I'm not saying that some arn't copper just saying that I've never seen one that was copper. Make sure you check them with a file or grinder first. I've always gotten yellow brass price for them and if they are copper they should be #2 copper price.
