Two radiators new in the box...if they weren't 10 years old and rusty!

So I just did this awesome garage Cleanout and will post pictures soon. Among the items I got from the widow of the mechanic/machinist were two auto radiators that were never removed from their boxes. Despite that they were corroded. Can't find any info on how (or if) to break them down to scrap, can someone please advise?

Also two brand new mufflers in box. Still shiny, guess I have to go back to evilbay!

On the radiators - are the sides brass or plastic? Either way, there should be iron that need to be cut off.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.
