Strip the main boards and whatever wire and motors you can get quickly and scrap the rest

I would at least check to see if they have a hard drive and/or ram. Some of the newer, larger copiers do. Also, some of the board are very populated. I've taken a few older ones apart and they have several motors but they were time consuming and in hindsight I don't think it was worth it.
the back should pop off easy enough, some green boards in there, and in the control panel. There's some little motors in there too. the more you take it apart tho, the more plastic you'll wind up with
ok thanks for the info guys. since i have nothing else to do tomrow as of right now i'll break one down all the way and take some pics and post it up.
Just a tidbit of information. If it has a hard drive, it stores everything that it ever made a copy of. How many places do you think wipe their copier hard drive? Most don't even know a copier has a HD.
