    scrapping generator head

I have some 60 kw 400 htz generators that I am going to scrap. Can anyone tell me aprox. how much copper is in one of these and the best way to get it out? Would it be best to just take the entire head to the scrap yard? Thanks Steve

60 kw a good size generator, surely someone has some experience with em though, you might be waiting, or checking back, to get it figured out, but you'll get it eventually. I'd say it has a fair size chunk of copper that might not be too hard to get. Chances are if you just take it to the yard, you'll get their minimum price (at best)
