I would think the guys on the scales would be more the ones I'd want to build goodwill with... once they write the ticket the window gals don't really have much to do with getting you max value. But for example overlooking a few steel pins you left in your heat sinks could make a few dollars difference. I'm taking a load of steel in tomorrow morning, and I've already planned a stop at the donut shop on the way.

Just sayin'. Anyway, it's never a bad idea to build goodwill with people whereever you go. Those gals will remember you for sure!

i take care of the guys to, its on here somewhere, ive bought sodas more times than i can count, ive bought pizza for the whole yard, donuts, last summer we even took freeze pops, bags of chips cookies you name it, sure i get some perks, but i like the look people give me, you have to remember these guys work in a scrap yard it might be the only time they smile all day.

I've brought em donuts before. Enough for the whole yard. There's only a dozen or so employees working. So usually 3 dozen donuts about once a month. Since I've started this I am greeted with smiles and handshakes all around. Even better, I haven't had one single problem at my yard. Cory, I like the pizza and soft drinks idea. Think I'll do that one next!
