Well, you might lose the "bright 'n shiny" bonus to corrosion. To be honest though, it takes a long time. I bought some 3" copper pipe for a project, and stored it in the garage. Four years later, when I got rid of the scraps, it was still all nice and shiny.
Unless it's physically getting wet outdoors then there's nothing to worry about, I'll bet I can check out my clean #1 from last fall and it's still nice and brite.
