    Getting the most from ewaste

Most of you know this but I still see alot of e-scrappers passing up things. They want only pcs and pass up printers, copiers, faxes, routers, phones, satellite receivers. I see a post on Craigslist and call and find out another scrapper took only the pcs & left things.
A lot of this stuff has motherboard quality and are passed up. Just recently I found a sony cordless phone with gold traced boards. Of course I wouldn't tell these guys in my area

    nice score there

if you do pickups you need to pickup everything not just part of it, curb shopping is one thing, but pickups is a whole other deal

please take everything or you make our whole community look bad, if you treat your clients right and pickup everything and leave business cards behind the reward is there, even if they are wanting to give it away for free its always good to give a few dollars along with the business cards
I buy and sell all types of scrap and escrap. I buy specialty and hard to sell escrap. I buy resale items. PM me or contact me at jghilino@hotmail.com
I AM ACTIVELY BUYING ESCRAP OF ALL TYPES. BOARDS, RAM, CPUS AND MUCH MORE

    jghilino,

I think part of the issue is thata full computer tower is 100% scrappable. Its kinda like cord cutters - they leave the vacuum behind with the motor but cut the cord. Same for other items - they don't want to mess with the ''mess'' lol

you missed the part that all of the other items mentioned are also 100% scrapable as you put it, and all of those items have high grade boards also

it is ignorance and laziness at its finest, the scrappers that operate this way make all of us look bad

Well, not for me though - I have to deal with getting rid of all the plastic so any printer I pick up is not 100%. nowhere by me buys the plastic so thats what I was talking about mostly

The city takes plastic every other week and supplies a large bin on wheels for bottles , cans ect. I always try to fill it half with my scrap plastic and half with my household plastic. I get no money for it but it ends up in the right place and allows me to take the less than desirable items.

I wish my city would take ABS plastics... They only take food bottle NO caps clam shells, or buckets either.
