Are the christmas reindeer lights worth anything?

I found one of those christmas reindeer decorations and i tore the wires off of it. Im wondering if it's worth anything
Oh yea i almost forgot i also found a pretty heavy timer. It has a metal case and inside of it is the timer. Im also not sure if i should open it up and take what is inside or should i just keep it as it is.

The frame is shred and the lights would go at Christmas light price or if you cut off the bulbs, #2 wire. Not really much there.

EDIT: The timer should have a little bit of brass and mostly plastic. There may also be a small motor to move the head back and forth, which I think you might be mistaking for timer.

I throw them into shred. Not worth the time to take the lights off. (I only get $.55 per lb on insulated low recovery.) Xmas lights are below that.
