ahhh, maybe you weren't here when she was doing all that, I guess it was last summer. First she had a fund raiser and was learning how to breakdown computers in the middle of it. Then she bought a load of old PCs and CRT monitors on Ebay, rented a truck to go get it, took two trips, not sure how she ever came out on that one

She's a real decent gal grouchy, lotsa fun, I think we had more fun than she did tho ; ) haha

All I can say is that printers are worth money...more than you think. If working, cl ad for $15-20 can sell all the time. Old cartridge...3 accounts - staples, office max, and office depot 10 cartridges each at $2 each...at worse save for 3 months and get a "free" sealed toner cartridge and sell on ebay. If toast, pull memory, boards and wiring for scrap, pull paper trays or other pieces and resell as parts on ebay...rest shred load since lasers weight alot..especially older ones. Really no reason you can't give them $1-2 depending on size as thw upside is pretty **** good...some you might come up short after labor (and I only brwak down if I can make $50/hr..the value I place on my time)..bur the others make up for it... $1-2 and you resell if it for $20 for instance if it works. Or you sell paper trays for $15+$2 cartridge+$1-4 in wire and boards+leftover shred weight...and if you get enough push your yard for preferential pricing because you bring so much. Monitors...well that is a different story...lol

Well I emailed him on Wednesday. Said I would really need to do a hands on inspection before I would commit but if they were interested in getting it out of their hair for somewhere in the $500 range, I would drive the 150 miles and take a look.
No response.... reckon I mighta' insulted them...

no hard drives, missing monitor stands, fuel, time, labor intense sorting, testing, listing, etc. I felt it was a fair 'ball park' offer..??????
