I use an 18" 12K # tandem axle skid-loader trailer and it works fine. The 26" would only be OK if you haul a lot of light weight bulky items like appliances.

Yeah that's a great point. The bulky light items like frigs and washers eat up room stupid quick but are relatively light, so a bigger trailer is helpful. But if your hauling heavy small pieces, like cast iron rotors and drums, you can fit 3 ton pretty easy in a pickup bed.

1st I wanna say you cant have too many trucks trailers wheelbarrows or buckets

2nd I wanna say if you only have one trailer it needs to be a 12 to 16 footer utility, a 16 you can haul smaller cars on and as stated above can handle anything within reason

3rd unless your neighborhood wont allow it or money wont allow, keep all the trailers you can, it will reduce handling material twice

my favorite specialty trailer now is a pickup truck bed trailer similar to taters, we throw prepared in there, ive got a gmc2500 im going to make another out of when time allows

anytime I go to a client to buy a car, if I see washers dryers or trailers I ask if they are for sale

the good thing about trailers is this, if you get them right you will never lose money on a trailer, if you ever get in a small financial bind a $1000 boost from an extra trailer might just bail you out, and when the guy tells me the wife said it has to go that means I get to buy it cheap
