Totally agree. I'm sitting on about 4 tons right now and plan to cash in on Monday

Had to load a frig on my truck today so I tried to use sirscrapaloot's advice of lifting with my knees. Dang, couldn't get that thing between my knees to get it in the truck.

I have mastered the art of sliding and pushing, rarely lifting.

LOL Happy. I didn't mean hug it with your knees! As TheRecycler says..Work smarter not harder! Lean that sucker on the gate, an slide it up! I know your being silly..but I figured for those that didn't I should clarify.

An TR I do the same when I need to get a fridge or something bulky into my van, leverage that baby up an slide it right on in. Works every time an saves the old back. Works with fridges, stoves, washer/dryers, file cabinets, etc.

Sirscrapalot - Yes I said lift with your knees..not have your knees do the lifting!

Besides scrapping, I'm a competitive cyclist and I need to protect my limbs. I incorporate proper lifting and scrapping techniques. However, for the tough guys out there who wants to do everything the rough and tough way, good luck with growing old gracefully. I plan on cycling competitively way into my 70s.

Turned in over 9,000 lbs of scrap today and made over $1,400. It's a **** good day but it certainly feels like 10 hours at the gym. Scrapping rules.
