Hey y'all, I have a project that is requiring a few big heatsinks like 7"+ long and 3-4+ wide. I been looking around and keep coming up with computer sinks but no extruded much bigger. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?

I found two today and thought of this post they are smaller than you need 2X6 but it made me think where I see them and I will look in the garage tomorrow.. you will see them on variable seed drives attached to the thin black box with the Cu plate with a ceramic PCB with gel all over it.

The invertors off invertor heatpumps have a heatsink thats about 6 inchs wide by 10 or more long. Nice solid peice of ext Ali.
The black box that was attached to it had transistors with heavy Gold plating on the board. Nice.
I checked last night & found the two alloy heatsinks off home stereos, they were 6 x 4+inch & the heatpump heatsink was 7 x 8 inch.
Most heatpumps heatsinks seem to be about 6-7 x 4-5 inch.
I have several from old telecom equipment; be more specific and someone will surely have what you are looking for. Provide a list of: height, width, length, etc...
