    Large office trailer

So my friend sold his home/stable and in the back is a large metal trailer/office. Its up on blocks and there is a problem with the axial. He has to get it out of there and asked me if I wanted to take it.

I know its worth money in scrap but how do I get it to the yard 20 miles away?

I'd hate to loose this free opportunity

the yards around me won't give u crap for them because they are full of insulation and wood. call your yards they might even pick it up

make the calls, act as the broker, have the yard pick it up with a flat deck.

they will pay shred price normaly then deduct a crap load of weight to compensate for the stuff that gets chucked in the dumpster.

check to see if it has aluminum siding might be worth your while. couple dump runs if you do decide to strip it

call your local fire department and see if they want to do a practice burn session on it. it will make your job easier . then do as cummins said and call your local yard and see if there interested and see if you can broker a deal with them.

Some dimensions and estimated weight would be helpful.

Don't know if you have the room but could you use it as a place to store and break down material?
