Small things I recycle: anything metal. Bottle caps, nails, paper clips. Aluminum food wrappers. I can get obsessive about recycling.

I have a little container started of just computer screws. They are so clean, cute, and seem possibly useful. Are they worth saving up and selling as batches of electronic screws, or should I just toss them in with the steel?

I was curious about this myself. They add up very quickly when I'm pulling apart whole computers. What are most of them made of?

Been meaning to post this for a while. Since I bill at a duplex property with a revolving door of tenants- they change the locks- A LOT! The Office manager has started to save me all her brass. These are the pins she changes in the tumbler to key the locks. By far the smallest things I scrap-- but hey- they are Brass! Better than ending up in the landfill!

I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!

That is very interesting about opening the locks down to the tumbler elements. Good idea and thanks for the photo!
