If you're shipping the laptops out whole and working, I'd recommend using a thin layer of styrofoam packing between the screen and the keyboard. A lot of the laptops on the bottom of pallets that I've seen have had screens broken from the weight.

Some buyers (Like me) will pay more for laptops that aren't damaged, and some don't care. But, packing is crucial!

I am not sure on the condition of the laptops. I Believe most are broke. I will sell them as is, as 'untested'.

I was considering trying to put them up for auction. Has anyone done this? Has it worked out? Pallets of roughly 100 laptops are selling between 1k -2k on my local public auctions. Going as 'untested'

This should give you an idea- they're selling with 1 bid on eBay, so it looks like a small market, but you never know until you try!

Here's the link to completed listings: Laptop Pallet | eBay

In the appliance shop i use hollowed out dishwashers for hold in scrap compressors. It holds in loose oil and has the frame that i can loop a dolly strap through. Because 15 compressors weighs quite a bit

I had a situation like scrap ALL OVER if I did not have kids , I was ready to kill myself . I was saying
Who collected all this inventory ? Oh yeah it was me !! . I have created a mountain or two umm three and the mountains are growing and segregated to separate areas and now human territory is coming back .
It is highly embarrassing getting to this point yet this is the year 2015 and times are tough & bills plentiful
Soooo I will survive & build my mountains .
