what's an hdmi cable ?
Has USB type heads on it Bear. But for TV's. Not sure if I'm explaining that right.
If they don't work, clip the ends, toss them in your gold connector bucket, or your OMG ITS GOLD™ bucket. You do have the bucket don't you? Throw the rest in your wire bucket.

Workin' on the bucket. By "clip the ends" do you mean pull the gold end out? New to all this...
Nah, just clip off the end that plugs in. You could pull the gold part out, but I think that would be bothersome. I do with normal plugs but those pull right on out with a pair of channel locks.
If you can just pull the gold, go for it. If not, just clip the cord where it connects to the fat piece. If you use the pic above. Then the rest just goes in whichever bucket you want it to.
Hope that helps.

Thanks
I don't think you would get any more if you just pulled the gold part out becuase you would need alot more to make a lbs. Just cut the wire where it goes into the plug. You'll get less per lbs but it won't take as many to make a lbs.
Not saying one would get more pulling the gold end out. Just that he could pull it if he wanted. I don't pull'm cept for normal plugs. Snip the ends, toss ends in gold connector bucket.
Wonder what the return rate would be if one refined a 5 gallon bucket of HDMI cables. Heh. Likely not much but I can hope!
I like simple which is why I just clip the ends. lol. I get lazy with those things.
