TRASHOUT - Phone APP to find...ahem..REPORT ILLEGAL DUMP SITES!

Available in the US and several European countries on the iPhone & Android OS.

Users take photos of illegal dump sites to report. Of course, nothing really happens except the few scrappers and treasure hunters who know about it go and dig through them. And now you all know! Tell everyone you know, spread the word, the more people who know about this app, the more piles get reported! Unfortunately in Arizona, there's only 1 reported, nowhere near me. But there are quite a few heavily reported areas.

    Enjoy!

From what I read, it sounds like it just recently added the US within the last 1-2 years. It started off in Czeck or somewhere around there. Hopefully with time it will expand. Besides that, all the internet per-city/county dump site reporting websites are all internet based email submissions - nothing that you can publicly view submissions. I understand the cities not wanting the public to see all the reports, safety and general image of the city, but it would certainly lower the amount of litter.

Add...West Memphis, Gary, most of Balimore, and DC....I could go on. an sorry to any from west Memphis, but when I rolled through...it didn't leave me with anything nice to say. An I've been to Gary, Balt, an DC...I can say nicer stuff bout them.

Sirscrapalot - Sure West Memphis is a nice place, but not a long the main interstates.

Had a friend from west Memphis, I told him a tornado went thru and did $15M in improvements, he looked at me with a sour look on his face, then said, you're probably right.

Nothing by me. Anybody want to start a dump site here with excess metal and electronics, let me know. I can point you to a great spot to unload.
