    is your trailer magnetic?

Mine is! and I am sure yours is aswell. So I put a magnet on mine for when I want to know what kind of metal I am picking up as I am picking it up. I thought it was a good idea. I am sure I am not the only one to think of this. But I figured I would share the idea. Here is a picture for your viewing pleasure.

Another tip is using them to hold straps in place so you can go to the other side and cinch them down. I have magnets all over my truck, and several trailers. Can never have too many.

I'm sorry but your trailor is not magnetic, the magnet is magnetic and the trailor is steel.

Idaho, that's a great idea. I usuall have a helper, but straps are a pain when I'm alone. I have hard drive magnets all over my shop, trucks, and trailers. Thanks.

Well that is a "duh" moment. I have tried various ways of keeping a strap in place, and have never used a magnet.

    is your trailer magnetic?

There are so many neodymium magnets on my trailer youd think the scrap would jump on by itself while i just drive around

I have about 50 magnets on my truck and trailer, I often use them for holding down tarps. Scrap yard does not like to pay for snow and I don't like paying to throw away the snow in my trash trailer.
