Hey guys,
I get a lot Fridge-compressor-oil, and I wanted to know what I could do with it?
At the moment I give it to a recycling company for free, but I would like to know if I could get any money out of it?

Try selling it as mineral oil.
I use mine up never thought of selling it
Cutting/drilling oil (low temp)
Use on dried out wooden handles (takes a while to dry)
put in compressor (if clean)
Lubricant
Add some to my bar and chain oil (don't dilute too much though)
Oiling any metal tools I find after cleaning off the rust
top off anything that needs mineral oil
add to my smoker with lamp feul. ( item used to put smudge on metal to see where two parts rub or hit)
there's a few i'm missing but I have a good sized bucket and use it all the time. great to have hanging around and the price is right

There ain't nothing wrong with an honest days work. Anyone who says otherwise is a fool.- Old Man
Not trying to hijack this thread but I was wondering the same thing about the oil that comes from the lens of projection tv's. I think this is mineral oil as well and was wondering if anybody sells it or what they do with it.
My used refrigeration oil goes to an oil recycler who makes bio-desiel out of it.
Roudeleiw, I get to play on his mining claim anytime I want to.
