Watch this quick tutorial for posting pics here:

This is so bizarre Ive tried for the past 30 mins + to resize the photo and upload it . I watched the videos and everything .... IDK maybe the software is acting up right now? Anyways Iam just curious what kind of metal this it . Its like a one of them copper small pipes that is bent or whatever and have a screw type thing over it and its got fluid going thru it. ?? IDK my dad would kill me if he read that description . Cause I should and do know all the terminology ... Im just frustrated w the pic app not letting me upload it.. Ill try one more time
Thanks

You are a new member. I think you need to post a certain number of posts before you are allowed to post pics. not sure how many though.
Yes, That is a horrible description...
Sounds like a copper pipe with a brass nut, from a sink? Idk. Pics will help. scratch it with a file, test it with a magnet. Read up on some old posts on this forum, there is a lot of good info here.
Okay >>> my bad about the description ..... Im going to throw in the towel on trying to upload photo tonight ..... One last thing... On the piece in question there is a few things written on it. It says Alcoa seamless WWT 700- 4 1/4
IDK if that means ANYTHING to you or what? Its not that big of a deal .... Im just really trying to dive head first into this field... Also is it called a XRF analyzer... I think I want to get one of them,, That would be a lot easier than the guessing and questioning game and stuff. . Also Im pretty confidant the guys at the scrap yard can tell I'm a newbie and just are like yup You only got 37.00 here. When I bring like 7 or 8 milk crates full of stuff? IDK live and learn right.
