i only use my angle grinder at home- after ive brought it to my yard- where i can strip at leisure.
most of the time, im under pressure to load up whatever is there & get out before it gets too late.

i carry a bucket of spanners, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers & two hammers

getting stuck in traffic while youre carrying a load of scrap is not pleasant at all.
that applies to big loads- the smaller stuff- i also load it up & bring it home where i can work comfortably.
i have had instances where i stripped on the guys premises and lost fair amounts of brass etc

it all ended up as shred/sub grade.
i could see the guys at the yard eyeing the brass-no doubt they would strip it off as soon as im gone.

    small beginnings

I havnt got much. Professionally, i fix appliances. For two years i ran scrap and stripping parts and recovering fridges. My personal scrap runs are meager I'm trying to make deals to get a steady flow of scrap. I don't have a truck but i have learned to make the most of my ford probe. After taking the rear seats out i can fit an 18' top freezer fridge.

A Broom and a Dustpan. These are essential in my opinion if you occasionally break parts of curbside scrap or even unscrew parts there as you Don't want to leave a mess that could wind up puncturing the tires of the person who just left all that nice scrap out there for you do you?
