    Floor jacks

Searched, no avail. I've got some ancient 3 ton floor jacks. Anybody scrapped these? Did you just haul them in as is? As what were they classified?

I had a few of them. Tossed them in with steel. Whole. I have another one that's aluminum, if I scrap it I'm stripping it. But then again, 'dirty' aluminum can fetch more than clean sometimes due to extra weight from steel. Had that happen to me with some auto a/c compressors.

If they still work I'd try to sell them and collect a lot more $ than scrap would.

Working ones will fetch ya some decent change. If ya try an sell them check local retail stores with loading docks(most of them!)an see if they have a use. I know in my truck unloading days, we would've killed to have extra pallet jacks. Even if old an beat up, long as they did the job. Our bosses would have bought them to, being used much cheaper then new. Ha ha!.

    Good luck!

We have 3 floor jacks, 2 are just steel but one is nearly all cast aluminum, so just check it with a magnet. If it sticks to a magnet, probably best in the steel pile
