Cat pee , how nasty. A product called nature's miracle will remove the odor not just cover it temporarily.
Google first ask questions later!
A little info on Bakelite - (as from my notes), Is a Phenol-formaldehyde (PF), a synthetic Polymer or a synthetic compound. A PF resin is the results of combining Formaldehyde and Phenol Acid. PF's or Phenol Resins have been used in many applications since 1907 and still used today. Bakelite was one of many early trade-names, Catalin was another early brand name both companies making Phenol Resins. PF's found numerous uses especially in early automobile and electrical manufacturing process. PF's have been used in jewelry, insulators, handles, knobs, distributor caps, counter tops, and billiard balls, etc. Thousands of uses and then some, with Asbestos added to some of the first Bakelite products. Bakelite has become a very well used name, for all things with old "plastic like" pieces. Not always "Bakelite" or at least not vintage Bakelite. Bakelite is recognized as the first synthetic plastic.

Same machine with, cord, no cat pee, and the foot or knee operating pedal.

always cool to get items that have been around twice as long as you have.
