Well guys and gals since I just opened the E-scrap buying, I think it would be beneficial for me to attend, I am fortunate it's a three hour drive. Is any one planing on attending?

I wish I could but that's over 10 hour trip one way for me.
Buying ewaste and video games !
If it's the one I think it is. Nope. There is a thread on it, somewhere on here with my reasons why. Anyhow..hope you have a good time, an be sure to share with the rest of us. Have fun while your there, an don't forget the business cards. Good place to network for all kinds of scrapping.
If it was our SMF one..I'd be there for sure. Which by the way...Admin, do we need to start a kickstarter fund for the SMF Scrap Metal Convention?
Sirscrapalot - Lobbying for an SMF Sponsored Scrap Metal/Ewaste convention for 2015.
I won't be attending, but on a side note, I do like where your head is at Sir.
I am a little surprised that there is basically no positive response from more members here, ok I understand that it's like $1,000.00 after everything but realistically I cannot see that being the reason of not expanding your business networking, gaining valuable information about new treads and techniques, and what about meeting the movers and shakers of the industry. I will share my experiences and general knowledge of what I learn with our members on the SMF, and maybe just maybe you will have another buyer that you can send your scrap to and get paid better.
don't know what when and where, need a link.

Yup that's the one.
I still point to the old thread on this one for my views.
Have fun once again, an know your our little spy reporting back so we know if it is worth it for next year.
Sirscrapalot - Florida bound, but for the parks, not the convention.

Awww too far away, was going to try to go but Its not worth a plane ticket.
Ooooo Orlando in October would be nice but, alas, money is way too tight. Maybe next year when things are going better.

I have been many times and The convention is ALL BIG COMPANIES. Its a great learning experience so Enjoy yourself but don't plan on getting any business out of it. Perhaps you will find someone to sell your scrap too.
Well hopefully I will find some good buyers, and learn some valuable information, not really looking for customers here, but establishing my business name and reputation in e-scrap is what is important to me right now.
I will be attending, hopefully I will see you there. This conference can give huge insight into the industry. One of the particular seminars within the conference is about the manufacturing trends and its "recycability" which I believe would be invaluable to disassembling scrappers. It is a big price tag but if you find nothing but one new buyer of a particular material, to me it is worth it.
