If these prices are right, I may have to make the 2.25 hour trip to Brockton. Seems too good to be true.

Spiegel is good for prepared, just dont bring them electric motors or compressors, they tried to give me .15 a pound! The best part of brockton is you have two other scrap yards within a mile, so make sure you call each yard every time you go and get the prices, one week one yard will pay more the next week another yard will. Eco recycling is literally right around the corner from Spiegel, just take a left at Cary Hill Liquors and its maybe a couple hundred feet up the street, i think they have the best ewaste prices but I never have anything but shred boards so that info could be out of date. You also have Brockton Iron and Steel which is right across from the BAT center/MBTA Station/Police Station. I think Brockton Iron usually pays the best for unprepared (radiators, motors, etc). I miss Campello Salvage though, they had a meter that showed the scale weight right out in the open and I always liked the old Huey frame they had parked on the front wall.

Had to make the call today as theses prices seemed crazy. Recording says 50 cents for aluminum and something like 2.65 for bare bright. Thought it was to good to be true.

We all know the old saying, if it sounds to good to be true, then it usually is.
