***Fun Fact: The man who invented the pringles can was actually buried in a giant one!***
We used to make these back in the day but didn't need reinforcement because we were able to use steel, straight edge beer cans...we called them Polish Cannons.

Fill them with screws also, but most the time I just throw them away and take the bottoms. I usually use blank paint cans for the screws

My wife forgets to leave the lid off the water bottles before trashing them.
    Closed plastic bottles explode. Bonfireworks.

It could hold long things, such as straws, pencils, zip ties, etc. With or without holes in the lid, it could be a salt or sand shaker for a truck's tires.

I cut the metal end off, roll up news paper in the resulting tube and use it for kindling in my shop stove.

I cut the steel end off then run around the house hitting the kids on the head with the tube. Occasionally I'll go after the wifey. Only my 5 year old realizes this game is the same as a pillow fight and grabs a pillow to fight back.....girls just run....hehe
