If people are throwing thousands or hundreds of floppies at you you might want to check into gold connector prices. Like mech said above it takes 5 seconds. You can break them off without even taking the case apart.



You asked for opinions, you got them. not all of us are so big we just throw things in shred. I dislike just tossing things into the shred pile. That's throwing away money for me. An i dislike giving any yard free money.

sirscrapalot, you make vaild points, and have much more experience in e-waste than i do, i am always trying to figure the most efficient way to run my business you try something one way and see how it works, the thing that i have come to understand about e-scrap is the profit margins are not so profitable on certain items and floppy's fall in to this category, i have figured out that i make more money with the floppy's by putting them in the shread than paying one of my guys to scrap them out.
