Depends on your yard. My yard they are clean al as long as a magnet doesnt stick
My yard will take it as clean. What many people do not realize is that dirty "(insert your metal here)" is not necessarily due things like Teflon, anodized paint or light paint, but it is other metals attached to it. Example: Aluminum with small steel screws, Brass water faucet fittings with copper tubing still inside (pain to get out), Copper tubing with small steel screws, etc.
ask your yard if they accept small amounts of ferrous on the aluminum. it is usually factored in to their pricing. for example - small heatsink with metal clip. if I dont want to mess with metal clip I can put with old aluminum as is@ .54. I lose a little on the extrusion but dont have to be bothered with little things. same with aluminum from low grade boards. just rip off and throw in aluminum including screws on back. also pans with handles
