I have stripped wire like that fairly easily before, if you are interested in getting a better price. Just lay it out flat and take an angle grinder with a thin metal cutoff wheel and run it down the length of the insulation. As the insulation is stiff you will probably need to do both sides. In the end you have clean aluminum.
