Welcome to the forum.
Trailers worth it?? To a few perhaps but most no, not worth it. There are many threads concerning scraping trailers, do some searches and look for similar threads at the bottom each threads. I think its better you passed on it.
Read all the old thread you can stand then read some more. This will give you a great basis to make money. You don't know what you don't know. Mike

It all depends...how much time you have? what kind of equipment do you have access to? do you think its worth the effort? It could be no or yes depending on how these (and other variables) interact. Some specifics such as year and make might help guys who have taken these things apart more info on how to advise you. Good luck if you decide to do it!!

Maybe this will help a little but remember that when most of this was posted the scrap payout was almost double of now.

I just finished doing a single wide (14x70.) Unless you have a way to dispose of the insulation, drywall, paneling, carpet, etc. etc. with little to no cost, you'll definitely want to charge for a job like this.

There is a guy here in So. Central MO that made a lot of money refurbishing old mobile homes. He had a small lot on I-44 outer road where he parked them, and hired a good cleaner to scrub them clean. He used to go to trade shows where he found suppliers that sold replacement parts. So all he invested was transportation cost, cleaning cost, replacement part cost and lot rent. He said: "there's money laying around waiting to be picked up".
