One of my Favorite tools...

This has most likely been mention before, but one the tools I wouldn't want to recycle without is an Anvil. I can not believe how often I use it. It really comes in handy when needing to punch that screw , or piece of metal out of something copper. I use the hardy hole that my anvil has. The anvil I use is a smaller one, easily picked up and moved, sits nicely on any flat surface. I got it for free, but after using one I would pay for one if I didn't have it. I will get a picture of it and post

I have a few of the short pieces of RR track that I use quite often. Great for rounding metal on the edge also.

The RR track anvils sell well. Average about 15.00 to 50.00 a FOOT. Take a look on eBay at what it sells for.

I have some other "chunks" of metal & heavy I beam and such that I also use for pounding on.

I use a vise the same way.
It works great, but I know its a matter of time that I'll probably need a new one.
Or maybe just get an anvil ....
