Protect your outdoor scrap pile without a gaurd dog

Here's what I'm using now since having to move all my "Good Stuff" behind the house and out of the driveway where the lady next door was apparently so unhappy with my pile not shrinking fast enough for her liking and the zero privacy 4 foot cyclone fence. So much so that after only 3 days of above freezing temps here in NE NJ she decided to have a town inspector smack an Orange warning sticker on our front door with a check-mark on Fence. I took the hint No Problem. She doesn't want my scrap visible to her from her backyard parking lot. I've also heard horror stories where this same town threatened $1000 per day fines to a friend of mine for having some scrap flat-screens piled up in his own CORNER driveway I worked 48 Hours Strait with No sleep, Stayed up all night with my fire-pit burning through the night and guarded my scrap till sunrise at which point I went right back to straitening things up again to an acceptable level, neatly rearranging everything in the backyard where we have a 6 foot high white 100% privacy fence all around it. I'm also planning on purchasing 250 feet of white vinyl DIY privacy strips online for 30 buck so I can still dump loads in-front of our garage in the driveway on multi trip scrap hunts.Luckily I had them put in a matching 6 foot tall white 100% Privacy Gate in next to the garage which leads right to the back of the house where the pile has been moved to now when they put the fence in last year. so this lady next to us cant make any more complaints since she can't see it unless she's using periscope or something. Only problem, The two 30-Something unemployed alcoholic drug addict sons of the lady directly behind us. Hmmff Well thanks to modern Deer Hunting science I had a $130 "Trail Cam" laying around. So now if they dare even think about hoping our fence one night like they did for years when they were younger they will have some Sp-lain-in To Do down at the Cop Shop at the bottom of our hill. Click pick for link to trail cam specs.

I'm sure that some of you may find yourselves in a similar situation at some point, so if so I hope this story helps you with some possible solutions if so.

Personally I'll sleep better at night now knowing that if anyone Does rob from my pile it'll have them on film Then I can take matters into my own hands or just strait have them locked -up

P.S. You guys who live out in the country where the houses aren't so **** close together don't know how blessed you are. Neighbors in city-ish suburbs with closely built houses can be real jerks and try and manipulate the law in all sorts of ways to get rid of you if they have a grudge. It's an angst filled way to live but I deal with it every day sadly.

One good thing about this, I made 23 bucks for my 600 lbs of shred after the forced cleanup job and got rid of all the plastic Non-Recyclable leftover parts that morning and made sure to help the garbage men load it and apoligized for the weight as I explained to them. They understood

Camera looks good I would use it, also nothing wrong with a scrap yard dog (people see him) and a few scrap yard cats (keep the mice and rats in check)
