    Cool Ideas for Craigslist ad?

    HI everyone.

I'm trying to put up a few Kijiji (More popular than Craigslist in Canada) ads for my small engine repair business I run on the side along with my scrap business.

Every year I put up a few ads and get a good amount of customers. However, this year it seems like everyone and their aunt is running a small engine repair shop.

There are almost 80 results when I type in small engine repair in my city!

I understand there are better ways to attract customers including flyers and even door-to-door canvassing (shudder), but I'm looking to a unique way to differentiate my kijiji ads from everyone else.

    Anyone else have any ideas?

This is my current ad - Small Engine and Snowblower / Lawn Mower Repairs | other | Owen Sound | Kijiji

My suggestion would be to target your marketing to landscapers. They're hard on their equipment. They would also be good customers for any reconditioned equipment you might be selling. Also, do you know that your ad is running in Owen Sound instead of Ottawa?

More info would be better, It's kind of generic, does not grab my attention. Maybe mention some of the higher end brands you work on, how many years in business etc.
with so many ads in your area you need to differentiate yourself from the crowd or at least make the potential customer feel you are better.
Also better pictures of a few different types of equipment you work on ( and lose the sneakers, does not look professional, go with a good pair of workboots )
Just my 2 cents, good luck
