wire stripper of this size. I will say at first it took 2 months before I really decided to buy it. when I did finally buy it within no time I had made my money back on it. it took 1 garbage pale of bare bright (32 gallon) and 1 Garbage pale of angle hair(32 gallon) since this point actually as of yesterday I sold my old stripper. Reason for selling was the stripper could not handle the needs any more. the stripper was great when I had 2 boxes(a month) (like a 20 count paper towel box) my pile of wire started to grow and grow it grew to piles of wire 4 feet wide 4 feet high 12 feet long. So I went to my scrapyard and asked them if I could walk around the yard and non ferrous building. They said yes and I looked around saw a beat up wire stripper they use and asked how does it work. they said angle hair wire sucks just bare bright wire 12 gauge and smaller 10,8, and so on. so I went home surfed the web and came across this company

Sears.com Tools&prdNo=2&blockNo=2&blockType=G2 reason for that was sears is about 15min away for parts and returns. within 2 days it cam to my house an I only had it running a total of 6 hours wow am I impressed. its quit it has power it really opens the wire I have cut time in half from the mini diablo. I would recommend either company. now I have people droping wire off and other metals people asking me to strip wire and I have wire to strip. I am also considering to buy a second copper mine and a mini weight scale. (to buy unprepared striped wire and rent the usage of the copper mine ) and doing something like (with markets up and down costs) you strip the wire 50 cents a pound for usage. I strip and keep wire 60 cents a pound.
when I cash in wire 2.07 on bare bright from .60 is $1.47 a pound profit
When I cash in on angle hair 1.70 from .60 is 1.10 profit
When I let other people strip wire I would make .50 a pound just for a machine rental.

- Anyone use one of those smalll commercial wire strippers
sells for about $40 bucks. Anyone try one of those and do they actually work like they say? Sometimes a factory demo is a highly trained person and makes it look simple but when you get it home and try it there is a lot to learn. I have no problem getting the $40 buck stripper. It would quickly pay for itself. I just don't want to buy something that won't work any better than my homemade strippers that cost nothing to make.
