Sellmelaptops DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM

Owners JP Campbell and Reina Santiago These 2 are crooks. Stole over $3000 worth of material from me and more from Gorven. I will let him tell his side of the story if he wants too. I can not express how important it is for people to do a little homework before dealing with a new company. They were known as Laptop Options before here on the forum. JP likes to make up different names for himself. They usually start with a J though. Take this warning for what you will but dont say I didnt warn ya.

I have been saying this for a while.........The buyers section needs to be purged for non-paying or inactive buyers.........I understand they paid for a membership but what is stopping me from paying a $30 membership then steal $3000 worth of material.......I feel there should be some sort of requirements for buying on this forum.......This is not my forum and do not own any part of it so it is not my call...........I have been chastised in the past even had threads removed for my opinions on this matter as well as others..........We all know what opinions are like so be careful who you ship to and just like the ebay thing send smaller quantities which will not matter if you get screwed or not.........Sorry this happened Part Time..........When the buyer makes a thread it appears this Forum endorses the buyer (I KNOW THIS IS NOT TRUE)......We do not need this type of business and nor do any of us condone it

I agree. State it right in the Buyers Thread policies that inactivity of more than 90 days, and unscrupulous reports will get your advert removed. Easy peasy

Maybe Admin contacts all sellers states that they need to post that they are still interested in being a seller to him. If no response close the buyers thread for that person. If Admin is contacted that they are no longer buying then remove the listing. If a seller contacts him Admin can re open closed threads.

Sellmelaptops DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM

one problem is how to define inactivity

Is it someone not logging in, or do they need to post/send messages?
Currently looking for a job in or related to scrap/recycling. Relocation is possible for the right offer.

It's call "fraud by wire" when nothing crosses state lines and it's called "interstate fraud by wire" when it does cross state lines. for these amounts we are talking about felonies. I'd sure be going to the district attorneys office and or filing police reports.

If you guys are NOT GETTING PAID, you need to speak up, if the buyer doesnt offer resolution then take it to the forum and let the rest of us know there have been problems. Often this is the only thing that gets the attention of the company, such as newegg and amazon, the seller doesn't respond or the manufacturer doesnt help you until you blast them in public. Bad that it has to be that way but it is what it is when were talking about e commerce, it's a small price for a large convenience.

Also, on the positive side, if you do good business, let your fellow forum patrons know you had a good business deal with such and such a buyer. Remember, people often come to this forum from google and bing searches with results for specific posts. If you aren't telling people about your experience with a sale then it's also not doing any favors for the community, and we are a community.

I was thinking maybe someone should start a thread.
One not to buy from and one that you have had good experience with.

    This already exists.
In the Buyers and Sellers section each Buyer/Seller has their own thread they created including the one mentioned above.
It's a great place to find buyers and sellers and give good or bad reviews.

    From the forum rules section.
    * - Posting Reviews for SCRAP BUYERS - Reviews should ONLY be posted on the buyer or sellers advertisement thread itself, if they have one on the forum. Forum advertising, and reviews for members who advertise here, are ONLY to be posted in the paid thread which the buyer or seller has posted. Any buyer or seller reviews posted on the main forum will be deleted.
