    anyone ever gotten one of these?

    i am going to ask the gas station if they have any scrap and in case i get one of these i was wandering what was inside one is it like a a/c? i found no vids on youtube. maybe im not entering in the right words?

    Do not take it unless you are one of the following:
    1. Certified to recover refrigerant.
    2. Willing to pay some to recover refrigerant.
    3. Have a yard that will take them as is and recover the refrigerant.

    me im not certified but i do have a ac guy that i get acs from im sure he would do it. would it fit on one of these? http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pro...7a7b3_1000.jpg i plan on taking this into town and wheeling big things back like acs and stuff. about how heavy would a ac from that be? how many pounds of copper can you expect from something like that if you take out the copper in the condenser to? i can just give the shred to the steel guy=)

    Average weight is 345 lbs.......

    How heavy would an AC from that be? What are you talking about? The actual sealed unit, the motor, the coils ?

    My yard takes the coils as Cu/Al mix and it pays better than separating it... especially when you consider time and effort.

    oh my lol i dont think i could do that lol seeing as i only weigh 125 haha. i did lift a home ac into a truck by myself though it was crazy heavy and didnt think i was going to get it in=)

    If you ever have something that large again and having trouble like you did getting the **** thing in, just spit of real good and will slide in easier then you wouls think. You can thank me later for the sound life advice.
