i was wandering what is a list of items electronics/small apliances/medium apliances around the house that have copper tubes/heavy wires,transformers and heat sinks things i already know:ac's,tv's,blenders,computer towers computer monitors and old tv's but i dont do old monitors hard to dispose of and heavy i would rather lift a acanything i missed please add
(washers,dryers,freezers,fridges,furnaces) those i would consider large and has to much steel. air handlers,pots,pans

Well, man, that is a wide question. You gotta figure that anything with a cord, should have some sore of copper in it, some of the motors might be AL windings though, you gotta check.
I would just start taking things apart and grabbing the copper out. I know that copper is coming up a little in price, but so is everything else, I would just grab all the scrap you can and start sorting. Heck, I just got about 28 bucks for a 350 poundish swimming pool. My steel prices have slowly been on the rise, I started getting .06 cents a pound starting in Aug.

All metal is money... Break down items if they are electronic or even battery powered for that matter, separate into buckets and take in when full!

Old school (woodgrain) microwave ovens, and older white ones have about 2lbs (1kg) of Copper in them.
More modern 'Invertor' microwaves only have 100gms Copper.
Cheapo and late model and 'Combo microwave ovens' either have 1 (cheapo) or two Aluminium coils in the transformer. So no Copper.
Washing machines (Fisher & Paykel smart drives, maybe a Kiwi thing...) Have 1 Kg of Copper in the motor. (Takes 20minutes to unwind..!)
CRT TVs can have a very variable amount of Copper in them, Sony Trinatrons (& other manufactures versions of such) are the best.maybe 2lbs.
Then you have to get rid of the glass 29inch + CRT...

It can be quite varable, its quite a joy to open up a a TV and find degaussing cables all over the back of the screen that are thicker than your finger.....
For a while I was going to jot the models and their Copper weights down, but they varied too much and its not often I find several of the high Copper return TVs in a short time.
Panasonic's seen to have the lowest returns on average. I just punch a small hole in the back to check first. Though some are 'average'.
A 'potted' gun coil cuts back the Copper return a lot too.

Battery powered items at least have insulated wires and could have circuit boards as well.
