    Ethernet and phone cable ends

Ive been looking through the old post and maybe I missed one on this. Through work I get alot of old ethernet and phone cable. Kinda comes with the job. Now Ive been cutting the ends off these for about a year now. My question is how do you sell these. Do I have to pull the gold pins out or can they be sold as gold pin connectors?

you can sell them to buyers here in the buyer section. Just make sure you get enough to cover your shipping costs

I leave all ends on all cables and sell for 62 cents a pound at a local yard.

best way to go. Yards around here want ends removed in order to get better price and you could sell the ends as copper content. Well no more copper content the ends go in with the shred, so I do save the gold connecters just have to make sure the price is right to send them in. I also twist off the brass ends and add them to the bucket!

I have a questions for you.

Why have you been removing the ends for the last year?

What did you see or read that made you start cutting the ends off?

Have you checked pricing at local yards to see what they are paying for ethernet cable?

How do they want it? Ends on or off.

If they buy it both ways, is it worth your time to remove them?
