    Slot card steel

When I started out scrapping I cleaned the steel brackets off of the slot cards. Then I saw them being sold with the brackets still on them. I haven't sold any yet. So did I screw up by removing them or will I get a better price for the boards with steel removed?
The way I saw it if you're buying gold why would you what to get steel.

Contact your preferred buyer and see what they say. I expect you may get a different rate for the ones without the steel but I don't know. Your buyer is the one whose opinion counts on this one.

My buyer asked me to strip them off but accepted them with the steel the first time. Now that I think about it he let a lot if **** slide that day and he sent me home with a free 500gb hard drive because the one I kept I thought was a sata but turned out to be ide so he tossed me a sata on the house.

**** he really went way above and beyond. I hope I can find him a good Hanuka gift. What does one by an escrap buyer for Hanuka? I'm torn between candles or a dreidel. I hate decisions
