    I cannot buy from the yards near me. Doesn't make much sense really if thy could make more money that way. Buy hey, it is their business to run how they see fit.

    Good for you though, seems like a good source.
    Copper, brass, and Leather. 3 of my favorite things.

    Sorry to hear that! Here people don't know much about recycling.. Even me I found recycling videos on youtube and after that this forum.. Yes at this particular scrapyard people bring in e waste and once a week people can buy e waste or scrap metal..

    I buy from one local scrap yard occasionally. Mostly desktops and laptops, plus I can pick and choose from the other electronic stuff too. I buy all for same price per lb. They just separate all this out of the shred pile. They are aware that they could get more for it if they sorted, dismantled and shipped all this stuff, but ewaste is not their business and not worth their time.
