Looking into a aluminum copper ac coil separator. Only decent priced one Is from China. It only has a 3 phase motor. Small operation so I can’t afford a 10k machine. Are their any us made machines?

Not worth the time and effort to separate. I cut off the clean copper ends on a woodworking vertical band saw with a metal cutting blade. Takes about 10 seconds a side, nice clean cut, steel plate pops off with 1 or 2 wacks with a hammer. Clean CU/AL radiators net around $1.00 # here. Still get SOME clean copper and get paid $1.00# for the aluminum/breakage.
The problem with Chinese equipment is that you get what you pay for. If it's cheaper than the rest there's a reason. The only way you would be able to find a truly affordable unit is to build one yourself and once you figure in steel, bearings, a motor, and possibly a gearbox and gears you'll be in at a minimum $3,000-$4,000+ if you use new parts. Can it be done? Absolutely, but it's not a walk in the park. You should also have to figure in the possibility of design revisions that will cost you additional money in parts. You also have to find out what profit you will make on upgraded materials as well as how many pounds you will need to pay off your equipment investment.
I don't want to sound negative as a project like this can definitely be done, but there are several different factors you will need to seriously consider if you are looking to go in this direction.
Where I work we have a al-cu coil shredder but it's more in the $200k range and can produce up to five tons of copper per 8/hr shift. Fwiw it's a chinese machine and it shreds like a boss. Our wire granulator, baler and shear also come from chinese companies. I do some of the maintenance on all of them and have no complaints
