    Just bought a wire strippee

I just bought a strip meister original drill power. It should arrive by the 18th it says anyone have experience with these? Does it really work with kinked and twisted wires like it showed in the video?. Or did I just bite the bullet with a hunk of junk?. Gotta be better than doing it by hand I have 72lbs of insulated romex to do yet I had a total of 118lbs I did some and got 31lbs bare so far. Going to get some xhhw se cable 6awg close to 1000ft I'd say. Can you do a whole spool of wire on that thing?. Or can it not handle that much at once?. Once I get all the wires done I can move onto ac rads I can break them down faster than I can strip wire haha. I use a sawsall and cut off the loops then pull loops off the steel clean rads are 1.85$ a lb that's the highest I have ever seen.

I did 750 feet of romex a few weeks ago. once through and stripped down I got 3000 feet of 12ga. I do not know the machine you have but it should be able to handle it but I would not do it while still in a spool. Mine run fast enough and it will be hard to keep the feed wire from kinking up. I take all wire I get and cut into about 3 foot pieces and straighten before cutting. Then I have a big pile of 3' pieces I just constantly feed the machine. Then pull up a chair and remove the insulation. When only 3' long if the blade does not cut good all the way down the insulation will have gotten crushed. I can just pull it off the the bottom.

I will be working on maybe 1000' of 10ga the rest of this wiik.

Idk about feet of wires but they are 12gauge romex 72lbs of it works pretty good yes does kink video said it could pull kinks out but not with romex obviously but it does pretty well with the wiresin the romex it can come off track sometimes. I had a pile from work of mixed stuff I sorted the 10 gauge and 14 and 12 and misc thhn in separate piles plus some cloth stuff I'm leaving alone mite b asbestos not sure. All I got left are the 12 gauge wires . I should be getting some 12/4 and some 500 ft of the xhhw 6/2 and some aluminum wire 4/0 and some smaller so I suppose I'll have to run it twice with that since it's harder and thicker than the copper stuff.
