I was thinking about taking in 30 or so AC rads with the ends cut off and clean could I take them in all at once or would the yard get suspicious or something? I'm going to be getting 30 A coils don't have to deal with gas so that's good. Maybe I'll have to go in batches of ten. Since I'm not a HVAC guy and sometimes yards think people steal ac's Wich they do but I don't I just get mine occasionally and save em up and break them down later. Thoughts???.

By me I can sell them only catch is have to get paid by check mailed to an address no po box.

Here they don't care about that, but you still have a good point. If one brings brass plates from monuments or parts from the electric grid or a dozen brand new cat converters, it will look very weird and they will refuse to buy it or call the cops. Laws are more strict in some states, but if your state allows you to sell them (WV requires you to be in the HVAC industry to sell) and you bring them that kind of stuff often (and better if you have the proof is legally acquired upon request), I don't see what why they would not accept them, especially if you bring them other stuff with the radiators.
NEW TO SCRAPPING? READ THIS: Build up your horde of magnetic and non-magnetic metals in two piles until you have a better understanding of the business. Magnetic material has low value and is mostly always steel / shred / short iron. Read old threads about non-magnetic metals and ewaste (and how to sort them), but don't forget that they generally have absolutely no tolerance for contamination (screw / iron / foreign material).
Talk to a buyer at the yard and let them know what's up. If you can regularly bring in 30 ACRs at a time they might even give you a price bump. It's not a big quantity on its own but would be a few bales a year.

Shouldn't have any problem. Ive seen on youtube that some states have different rules but thats usually for the warmer states in the south, like Hobo said he gets a check mailed in AZ.
Up here we are more of a colder climate and shouldnt matter. ive sold over 180 lbs before with no problems. But all yards have different ways of doing things.... one yard here will pay you cash up to $100 in coils and if you go over 100 you get a check. The other yards all cash no matter how much you have.

Ok. Thanks for the info. I took in ec wire 183lbs of it it was 4/0 and didn't say nothing. So I'll probably be good and no I don't really take them in on a steady basis.
