Window ac power cord flat type

Was wanting to know if 16 gauge or 14 gauge would affect recovery rate?. What recovery would those be?.

I don't specifically have anything for ac cords but the 10 gauge heavy duty electric dryer cords are about 45% copper recovery by weight.

Recovery of 16 gauge ac cords would be a fair amount less.
