Big Transformers

there are some big transformers on Govdeals.

I wonder how much copper would be in each?



they weigh about 6000 lbs each.

Bid is up to over 10 grand.

Those are roughly 95% copper but are usually graded as #2 clean...only stuff on wire is varnish.

Bid is at almost 23,000 dollars now.

even at 50% copper content. there should be about 50K there.
